The Andy Gray and Gary McAllister Golf Classic at Celtic Manor Resort

The Andy Gray and Gary McAllister Golf Classic was, for the fourth time, held for Against Breast Cancer at the beautiful Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, Wales and attracted many personalities from the sporting and entertainment world.

Following the day’s golf (without rain!) I was invited to attend a delicious dinner with wine followed by fabulous entertainment after which, if you had the energy, you could dance into the early hours of the morning! Of course the main priority of this event was to raise money for Against Breast Cancer – which is just what happened, with the auction alone raising over £24,500! Everyone was incredibly generous with their bids and in return received some wonderful prizes.

We have not heard yet how much the final amount raised was but I am told that it should be in the region of a wonderful £60,000.
