BB’S Goes Pink

BB’s Coffee & Muffins has once again chosen to support Against Breast Cancer during September / October and has created another special pink muffin and drink to help raise funds towards Against Brest Cancer’s groundbreaking research.

Last year, BB’s stores across the UK raised £26,000 from sales of its special pink muffin and milkshake, the sale of pins and local fund-raising events in the cafés. This year the new Raspberry and White Chocolate muffin is a special edition indulgent treat which will be on sale alongside a Raspberry and White Chocolate chilled drink. From mid September and throughout the month of October, BB’s will donate 15 pence whenever this muffin or chilled drink is sold in its over 140 cafés throughout the United Kingdom. BB’s will also be promoting Against Breast Cancer by distributing leaflets during Breast Cancer Awareness month and selling pink pins.

“Our activity was very popular with customers and our staff who appreciate the need for research into breast cancer. They understood that by treating themselves they are contributing towards research that will help to find a cure,” said Michele Young, BB’s UK General Manager. “We have two million customers a week in our cafés so we hope the material we will have on display will help raise awareness of the issue.

“We are hoping that even more of our cafés will run special fund raiding events this year – last year our staff organised raffles for giant muffins, held face painting sessions and sold pink saris.”
